29 March 2020: 1. There will be no general meetings or car runs until we are advised by the Government. We have been advised by the CCC that the Marion Council has shut down the Glandore Community Centre until at least 30/6/20. This could also be extended. 2. Our 40th Anniversary Display Day for 3rd May 2020 has been cancelled. The Holdfast Bay Council has suspended all events until at least 31/7/20. We have been advised that we can have a full refund, which we will be seeking. At this stage no other date has been planned. I think that at this stage, this is our best option, as we cannot foresee when these government rules will be lifted. 3. MEMBERSHIP FORMS AND REGISTRATION DAY DETAILS WILL NOT BE POSTED WITH THE MAY/JUNE MAGAZINE. A separate letter will be sent to all members with Registration Day details and membership forms detailing how we would like this to be completed. 4. Due to the fact there may not be a meeting in July the AGM may have to be postponed with all committee members extending their tenure until we can safely have an AGM. We will continue to keep our members informed as we are made aware, as you know things are changing constantly. To our members please keep safe.Regards |
